Deaths often accompany times of mourning and this is one of life's most stressful times. When things are difficult for your family, the last thing they need is to worry about burial expenses and arrangements. You can remove this burden from their shoulders when you have a good plan.

You can choose from several different types of policies. For instance, one plan is for families and provides ten thousand rand of cover. If you wish to pay more you can receive a plan that offers cover of eighteen thousand rand. Your spouse is also covered for the same amounts.

Your family plan includes you children. In fact, it will provide protection for as many as 6 children. If you have children 14 or older they have the same cover as you and your spouse. You may have as much as 12,000 rand cover for kids age 6 to 13. Children younger than 5 years can receive 3500 cover and you will also have 1500 in case of a stillborn birth child.

Parents that are widowed or divorced can take advantage of these policies also. In fact, the cover is the same as family plans. If you have more than six children or wish to cover other family members, extended family polices are available. Waiting periods are required, and it is thirty days for people less than 65 and ninety days for those over the age of 65.
