Comparing The Various Features Of Nikon D5200 Vs D7000

By Alvin Sanchez

Various models of camera are being released yearly and most of these models are only considered as enhancements of their previous versions. However, many people are still hooked on new models even if the enhancements made are not too big just to say that they have a new model. This is a very common trait of most buyers but professionals and photographers always look at the features of the cameras before they buy. If you are thinking about considering Nikon D5200 vs D7000, here are the tips that you have to learn.

The Sensors of the Models

The Nikon D52500 has a 24-megapixel sensor and the D7000 only has a 16-megapixel sensor. Well, it might be a big difference for normal people but if you look at the images, it seems that there is nothing different from it. You can only see the difference if you will look at the picture closely.

LCDs of the Two Cameras

Based on the Nikon D5200 Review website, the two cameras have the same LCDs but the new one can be rotated in various angles. It might be great but this feature is only good if you are shooting movies and other related activities. It means that it is not actually usable on your daily photo shooting routines.

Memory Overload

Based on a Nikon D7000 Review, the cameras both have memory cards but the older model has two memory slots. If you want to own a camera with more memory, the older version is a good choice. You can save pictures and video on the older version without worries so if you are a video lover, this is a great choice.

The Viewfinder

The new version might be new but it only uses a cheap viewfinder that can produce 95% coverage on each frame and the older version uses an advance version that can produce 100%.

Continuous Shooting

The new version can actually shoot around 5 frames per second while the older one can shoot 6 frames per second. This is not a big difference as well so make sure that you look closely before you choose.

Price

When it comes to price, it is a bit daunting because the new one only amounts to $600 when you buy them online while the older version is about $900. When it comes to D5200 vs D7000, it will actually depend on your personal needs.
