An Experience In Norwalk

By Franklin Skribbit

At Hotel Zero Degrees we do things a little bit differently, and our guests wouldn't have it any other way. Located in the heart of Norwalk, Connecticut, this hotel provides an urban-chic environment that is sure to satisfy your taste for something unique and always satisfying.

If during your stay at Hotel Zero Degrees you wish to explore the beautiful outdoors there are several nature parks in Stamford that will feed your need for fresh air and adventure.

Our signature shades of grey with a splash of color create a modern and inviting area for you to call your home away from home. You'll also find ergonomic seating, which will be a perfect place to kick back and relax while watching the room's high definition 42 inch flat screen television.

These front desk attendants have access to rooms along with other perks and they will give you more hoping for another tip. If you arrive in the evening the desk attendant will more likely know what rooms have not been filled so if you are going to ask you'll have better luck later in the day.

Hotel Zero Degrees is also a great choice for business meetings or special events. Our 1,875 square foot ballroom can accommodate up to 120 people for a seated dinner, or 200 for a cocktail reception.

Cove Island Park

We're all about providing that little something extra that makes things just a touch nicer. Like iPod docking stations in every room or access to Starbuck's coffee at any hour of the day-or night. You can enjoy your cup of coffee while checking out the daily headlines on your tablet via our free internet or if you prefer your headlines in ink be sure to pick up a complimentary newspaper.

The beach is well-maintained, family-friendly, and is usually not crowded on the weekends. There are convenient changing rooms, a snack bar, a walking/cycling trail, and different areas for swimming, canoeing, and sitting under the trees on numerous benches with a view of the water. It is a great place to sunbathe during the weekend.

The Mystic area is also a wonderful place to enjoy the water. You can go sailing at Calf Pasture Beach or try your hand at Paddle boarding or kayaking with Down Under Kayaking. Prefer to stay on land? Enjoy a round of golf at the Oak Hills Park Golf Course, or explore the SONO design district, where you'll find shopping boutiques and culinary arts.

5. Loyalty and Novelty - I am grouping these two together to limit the number of points but loyalty and novelty are two separate ways of getting a great room. Loyalty involves being a member of the hotel's program or perhaps having one of their credit cards. Make sure to have your card information ready for the desk attendant so when they do see or you mention you are a member of the loyalty program it is very easy for them to verify and offer you rewards.

No matter the occasion, the Hotel Zero Degrees in Norwalk provides accommodations that will make your stay satisfyingly memorable.
