Country Songs And Love

By Carol Brome

One of the most popular themes of country songs is love, followed by the suffering caused by love, drinking, religion and even patriotism. However, love is the theme used by artists that have released the best country songs ever. Even new country songs tend to talk more about love then of any other topic. This seems normal to us because love is usually our main concern in life, regardless if it is love for our partner, mother or siblings.

Given that love is unquestionably an important feeling that allows us enjoy life at its fullest, most top country songs which have this theme tend to be slow. Therefore love country songs are perfect for slow dancing with a partner. For example, "Austin" sung by Blake Shelton speaks about a man and a woman that loved each other, but the woman went to Austin for a year. After that year passed, she discovered that she still loved him and they got back together.

However, don't assume all love country songs are slow and "It Must Be Love" sung by Alan Jackson proves it. This track talks about a man who believes that he loves a woman due to the fact that he dreams about her and all of his dreams find a way to include her. The tune also mentions how fantastic love makes you feel. "White Trash Wedding" sung by Dixie Chicks talks about a couple that doesn't have enough money for them to get married, but they love each other so much that they'll go through every little thing together.

The amazing thing about country songs is they are usually played at weddings for the first dance of the couple as a married couple. One of the greatest country tunes that are proper for a first dance is "Lost In The Moment" sung by Big And Rich. This song refers to a soon-to-be husband who is very happy for getting married and for commencing to live with his wife as a married couple.

Top country songs can even be played for the father daughter dance at a wedding party. Almost all of these songs talk about the love a father has for his daughter and how he wished that she will not grow older and always be daddy's little girl. "Tough Little Boys" by Gary Allen talks about a man who used to be though, but once he became a father, he commenced to be fearful of everything his little daughter was frightened of.
