Human beings are doing everything to make sure they catch up with fashion and the trends of the twenty first century in order to look more attractive. The act of inflicting an injury on the body which later is used as a resting place of a certain jewel is known as Toronto body piercing which is now popular in the modern day world. Many people are doing it either old or young, men and women in order to look attractive as they put it.

Historians do date this act as one of the oldest since they approximate it in 1500 BC. Excavation of precious and other items done by archeologists lead to the discovery of the old jewels which were used for beautification as those who wear them put it. Ancient Rome is associated with nipple piercing, genital associated with Ancient Indians while tongue and lips piercing was done by African and American tribes.

Reasons of inflicting the body with injuries are in plenty since each and every one who have done it has a reason. Victims of sexual and physical abuse especially women do put them on for recalling the pain they passed through. Others wants to satisfy their desires when they are having sex to get more pleasure hence wear jewels in their genitals.

The act of inflicting an injury to ones skin is highly forbidden by the laws of different countries in a bid to save the young generation from the consequences. Scotland is one of the countries whereby children below sixteen years require a go ahead from their parents or guardians before they engage into it. Australia is also a country whereby when one is found guilty after piercing a minor is fined or imprisoned for a period that the judge determines.

Consequences of the acts are in plenty that are resulted by inflicting the body with injuries which are sealed with jewels. The immune system do react when these objects are used to seal the inflicted parts and the objects can be niobium and stainless steel that can make the immune system affected. Sexually transmitted ailments can be transferred from one person to the other when these objects are shared between infected and uninfected people.

Moral decay have increased rapidly among the elderly and the youth whereby people are sexually attracted to others of the same gender. This is known as homosexuality and the people who get involved in it have to put jewels on different parts of the body for better recognition. Many people do hate homosexuals and wherever they see the piercing they do brand one a gay or lesbian.

Objects used to pierce the skin in beauty shops and other places where the act takes part should be well sterilized to prevent disease contracting. Ear guns and piercing needles should be washed with disinfectants to kill viruses that are carried with them. Putting them in areas with high temperatures like boiling water also does kill the ailment pathogens in them.

Everything people does have a price to pay hence some things should be avoided. Piercings do cause immune weakening and people have high risks of having diseases when they shared objects are used without disinfecting them. Freedom comes with responsibility hence the freedom people have should not be misused to cause harm to their health.
