How To Use Hair Color Chalk

By Leanne Goff

For those individuals who do not prefer to dye their hair permanently, hair color chalk could prove to be a beneficial option for them. Its not only easy to apply but it does not cause any further damage to hair at all. On the other hand, when permanent dyes are used, there is a huge risk of getting your hair damaged, whereas when chalk is used, it doesn't stay in permanently and it washes off easily.

The application process is very easy and simple, firstly choose a color of your choice. You could either go for a single shade or use multiple of them. Individuals who have naturally light colored hair can easily apply even lighter and less brighter shades but if the shade is dark then you are restricted to use only brighter and vibrant shades so that they remain visible.

Its best that you use these to highlight some part of your hair because it could be too difficult to complete dye them while using these chalks. Once you have styled them the way you want them to, then start applying the dye because if they are styled later, they might not look good at all.

The equipment you will need includes a bowl of water, paint brush and the chalks. The quantity of water must be very less otherwise the required shade might not brighten up as much as you want it to be. In order to avoid marks and stains, always wrap a towel around your neck so that it protects your clothes from getting damaged.

Put a little bit of chalk into lukewarm water and use the paint brush on the wet chalk so the paint brush becomes completely colored. Only paint the wanted area that needs to be colored. Just determine when that when you make the use of little piece the amount of water ought to be little too with the goal that the shade looks shiny and vibrant.

Once you have completed one coat, then take the piece out of water and run it through the applied area of hair. The more coats you apply, the more brighter and darker the shade would appear. Always start applying from the roots and work your way towards the end. Keep following the same procedure until you feel completely satisfied.

Once you have dyed, you should not comb or brush as brushing could again lighten up the shade and it may not look nice. Just keep it as it is and when you want to get rid of it all you have to do is to wash them while using a shampoo. They do not cause any damage and can be considered as a safe way of dying on a temporary basis therefore ideal for people belonging to different age groups.

It can be said that the application of hair color chalk is quite easy and simple. You can use it without any problem of difficulty, but the only problematic thing about this type of dye is that because its not permanent, which means you have to be careful while going out in a wet weather, also never brush your hair vigorously as such things could effect the current shade.
