Sex molesting is a complex and emotional social issue that is affecting may people in the diaspora more so the victims. Strict laws require to be put in place to curb the act since of late the sexual abuse survivor stories are in an upward trend. These offenses build sensitive issue to survivors as they find it difficult to disclose the violence they have encountered.

Writers concerned with this issue should fully utilize the data collected as fully as possible to inform the society about the act. Survivors might feel neglected and therefore taking part in writing and documenting such stories is one of the way to communicate their experiences. It also influence policy governing the offense.

Survivors need counseling from friends and relatives to help them cope with life. Advise shows some care and sympathy thereby relieving depressions. Victims should report cases within the shortest time possible to enable necessary medical care be provided time.

Governing bodies should aim at improving treatment of such victims and also implement harsh punishments to those found guilty. Judges residing over these cases require to have frequent training sections which will improve their skills. Sexual abuse affects the social life of victims as some find it difficult to maintain their relationships with friends or even partners.

Those who have experienced it find it difficult to travel during the day or night especially when they are alone. This can therefore affect their way of life and in certain situations lose their jobs. Family members and friends are also affected because they feel that they could have stopped the incident from happening.

Victims may also have a low self esteem since they feel mistreated as some of their rites are violated. The sexual abuse survivor stories should not be looked down upon and should be taken seriously. Rape affect sexual relationships and eating habits of survivors.
