Italian Pop Singers And Their Music

Pop music from around the world is lovely to listen to, and one gets to learn about other cultures as well. They get to hear the language in its unaltered state and enjoy the music and the dialect. One type of fun pop music to listen to are genres of pop music from Italy. Italian pop singers are great to listen to, and there are a variety to choose from.

Laura Pausini is one of many popular pop singers in Italy. She came on the scene in 1993 with her song 'La Solitudine'. The song became an international hit, arriving at the top of the Italian Singles Chart. It also hit the top 10 in the Netherlands and France.

Alice Visconti is a pianist and singer. She got her debut in the Sanremo Music Festival with her song 'Per Elisa' in 1981. She represented Italy in 1984 at the Eurovision Song Contest, singing 'I Treni Di Tozeur'. She has recently expanded her style to include jazz, classical, electronica, and ambient music.

Marco Carta is pretty new in the pop music scene. He was in the show Amici di Maria De Filippi in 2007, and won the competition in 2008. He also won 300,000 euros and a contract from Warner Music Italy. He sold over 350,000 albums back in 2009, and over 150,000 singles.

In-Grid is a songwriter, singer, and dancer. She was named after the famous actress Ingrid Bergman. In-Grid is best known for her smash club hit 'Tu es Foutu', or 'You Promised Me'. Her latest album was named Lounge Musique.

These are some of the few great musicians out there that one can explore. Their music has hit international charts and broken several records.
