Digital Creations By Sublimation Clothing

By John Harris

Technology has advanced and many applications have been developed. This has found its way in the fashion industry and uses have been well integrated. People nowadays are finding pleasure in having customized clothes and they can therefore have what they desire. This is possible by using sublimation clothing to have their designs actualized. Described below is information which sheds light to this procedure.

The process involved molecular bonding of ink to the fabric. This can be described as having the ink within the attire rather than on the surface. This latter way is known as screen printing where a chemical additive is used as a binder to adhere to the material. For the first undertaking mentioned, the image that result of the preferred design does not peel, crack or fade as it is the case with major decorations of different apparel.

Just how is it done? This is a question which you have to answer. The undertaking involves heat, special printing paper and the attire you want to have the design on. The image is printed on the paper using exceptional machinery and ink. Its then cutoff and taken for the press action to be performed with the correct amount of heat. The transfer is makes the design part of the fabric and also provides a soft feeling of that product.

The action is not suitable for all textile used for manufacture of attires. The best to use are polymers and polyesters. However, some chemicals added to them can interfere making them unsuitable for use. Others may be made of a blend of fabric. The ideal blend is one which has a fifty percent composition of suitable material. Due to the high temperature applied, cotton and wool should not be used.

Color is important when printing to obtain the best result. White is suitable but when selected, it should not be part of the customized design. Other colors can be used and will replace the white if the image has included it. However, there are limitations involved such that they might fade if their dye was set at a lower temperature than that of the heat press. Testing should be done prior to printing.

There are two categories of procedures which are spot and allover printing respectively. Spot system is cheaper to use and is the most common. The graphic is printed on the transfer paper and afterward its discarded when the action is over. Its usually smaller than the paper used since the edges are not utilized.

All over system is different from the previous method. Larger equipment is needed since the graphics are also large. It involves covering the attire with decorations from the top to bottom. The equipment used are also larger making it costlier. With it, you can obtain patterns which cannot be gotten from spot system.

Selecting the right equipment will enable you to have decoration of apparel which you can identify with. Not everything will work and therefore you should sort out carefully what will to enable you to create good graphics.
