Acquiring Curly Indian Hair At Home

By Antoinette Quinn

Many celebrities these days have acquired the curly Indian hair look which is having long bunching curls all around the hair. That is why this style has become quite a popular style among the ladies these days. Although it is quite challenging to get and maintain this kind of hairstyle, there are actually some ways to get it easily.

Of course most people just go to their local salons to get the job done in order to save them time and effort. The only that they need to do would be to grow their locks really long before they visit the salon. Now if one cannot afford to do this or simply do not like going to the salon, then here is the way to do it.

So the next best and healthier alternative would be to acquire those curls at home where fewer chemicals can be used. Of course the first step would be to moisturize the scalp and make sure that it never dries. Use some moisturizing shampoo or even some moisturizing creams that go well on the scalp.

For the lucky few that have natural curls, they do not need to use much curl enhancing shampoo because they already have the curliness that they want. However, for those who are not born with this trait, they need to use these types of shampoos regularly if they want to end up with curly locks. Just keep on using it regularly until the curls start to form.

To scrunch up the curls, all one has to do is to flip her head in an upside down position and grab her locks with an upward motion in order to curl them. If one does this, her strands will become more solid and hardened. After that, she must seal the deal by picking up a blow drier and dry her locks so that the curls stay like that and eventually get used to being in that position.

The next thing to do would be to use some curl enhancing lotion because after the shampoo works, the lotion will be able to keep the curls in place without losing its vibrancy. Apply it on the entire head including all the ends and roots of the scalp. Always use a generous amount so that the curls will look hardened and shiny instead of dry and frizzy looking.

Another thing to do would be to buy one of those hot iron curlers which can be found in any beauty store around the world. Now it is not advisable to use this everyday as too much electricity and heat is not very healthy for the scalp. So the best thing to do would be to use this once or twice a week only in order to maintain the curliness.

So for those who would want to get some curly Indian hair without going to the salon, try some of these tips that are guaranteed to work. However, one should always remember that if she has curls like these, she cannot use shampoo. At the very least, she can only use baby shampoo which is extremely mild to the scalp.
