Art has existed even before civilizations were made. In fact, the first people who made artworks were actually the cavemen. The man who first started cave drawings was said to be the first sketcher in the history of art. Even the maker of the wheel was said to be a brilliant artist. These days, artworks have evolved into so many forms like drawings, writings, sculptures and the like.

It has so many effects on societies because of how people react to it. The primary effect would actually that it brings awareness to people. Art is actually a representation of the feelings of a person. These illustrations make people understand what is in the mind of the artist and probably a hundred other people.

With this new found awareness come realizations and fresh new perspectives. Art is meant to emulate what life is about in a very unique way according to the artist. So by looking at an artwork, one may see life in a whole new light because he is seeing it through the eyes of the artist. With this, the viewer may even be able to relate to what the artist is trying to say.

According to history, some leaders viewed art as a means of rebellion and propaganda. This is because it was a subtle way for an artist to voice out his hidden feelings about the regime that was living in. Since he had the courage to voice out his opinion, this actually gave the people more courage to voice out their opinions.

Without knowing, illustrations and portrayals could also make a person smarter. As said above, it gives realizations to people. Without them knowing, it also encourages them to think critically about the meaning of the piece. Since there are so many ways to interpret it, people will have to think out of the box to get the true meaning.

As a whole, art is a way to send out a message to the public. Many people have actually changed their way of thinking because of works of art. Because of this, they try to spread their new knowledge to even their friends. That is why artists were said to be the most inspirational and influential people of history.

Art is extremely powerful and can make or break communities. Arts effect on society is so great that it can create rebellions and wars as well as peace. It has given people a new and fresh meaning that they can add into their lives.

Play Piano By Ear - What Should I Know Before Attempting To Improvise

Music students should understand that there are several crucial steps they must learn before trying any piano improvisation. Knowing your I, IV and V chords in C major is a great foundation for anyone who wants to improvise on piano. They provide the ability to add some nice rhythm and flair to even a basic composition.

Learning how to play piano by ear is fairly straightforward. Like anything, it is a skill that is achieved after repetition and practice. Even if you didn't know your scales or chords, it is still possible to be a master improviser with practice as long as you know what sounds good. 1. Volcano under Yellowstone

We presently know how preppers must feel about volcanoes. But is the Yellowstone Caldera a risk? I recently read through a motivating article by a geologist about the likelihood of a disaster level event from Yellowstone.

Yellowstone is actually a sequence of three different calderas, with the possibility of fault line and water driven types of eruptions. Yet another essential thing to remember is that there have been a couple of smaller eruptions since the last super eruption 640,000 years back. The author even fears that perhaps a super eruption would produce adequate ash to reach NYC. The previous super eruption went as far as Nebraska (one thousand miles). It would not affect the east coast directly but it should definitely disrupt domestic food growth.

2. Urban prepping in the Big Apple

New York city is one of the most densely populated cities on this planet and would be a terrible location to be in should a global food crisis arise. Jason is clever to focus on defense first. New York is among the most difficult states to obtain a gun license in and doesn't issue concealed carry permits, however, if I lived there I would certainly push the paperwork before I started paying Israeli people for Krav Maga lessons.

There might be a point when it comes to needing to hide and needing to battle indoors. A gunshot might destroy any secrecy if trying to hide resources. Krav maga often has live sparring sessions which weren't shown in the program. However, anybody trying to join a krav maga school (or even any martial arts for instance) certainly has to look for a location that does sparring. Without it, you might as well be taking choreographed dance classes.

4. The staying in plan

The problem with Jason's bug in program is that it is neither a great stocking system nor a great bug out plan. Having a hundred gallons of water and four people in the family he can live for approximately twenty-five days. His defense is excellent in the home however it leaves a lot to be desired against an organized team. Exactly what would happen if a gang made a decision to go door-to-door? What if someone lit up a fire to smoke him out? There are lots of factors in the city like this to be worried about.

Getting Started To Write Your Novel

If you are like lots of people, you have a desire to write your novel. Almost everyone has a story they want to tell. It is hard to get started, though, partly because of fear of failure or the unknown, and partly because of procrastination. But, knowing certain steps to follow to get started can overcome those drawbacks. Following these steps can help you get off the ground and get writing.

There should be a message to tell for all good stories. The author has something they want to share, some idea. It may be a message about love, or about getting found out when you do wrong. There is a limited number of messages available. Determine what your message is and make sure every step of the plot helps make that statement.

Good plotting is an aspect of a good story. Plotting is not what the story is about, it is what happens throughout the story. The plot should be outlined, with ups and downs, or fast and slow progression. When an intense moment in the plot is resolved, there should follow a slow, less intense moment. This keeps the reader interested, but not so intense as to be stressful.

A novel is usually written much as a three act play is done. The first act is about one-fourth of the length, the second act about one-half the length, and the third act another one-fourth. This means that most of the action is in the second act. A lot of writers like to outline this part at least, even if they are not an one who writes by an outline.

Setting is another important aspect in planning a story. Setting is not just the place, it is also about time. Make the setting as authentic as you possibly can. If you don't want to use a real location, find an area or two and use elements from those to make the location seem authentic. If your novel requires a fantasy world, make it at least believable.

In addition to plot, another important part of a successful tale is characterization. The protagonist is the main character and should be a likable person. They should have a fault as well so as to seem more realistic. The antagonist is the opposite of the protagonist, attempting to prevent them from getting their goals. However, they should not be totally negative, but have some positive traits as well.

In order for the story to get written, you must start writing. Just thinking about it and not doing it won't get it done. Commit to a set schedule and follow it. If you can't write every day, at least commit to a set time or amount. Daily writing is best. Some people commit to a particular number of words or pages, and other commit to a set amount of time. Just be consistent, whichever is chosen.

When you write your novel, remember that it is a rough draft only in the beginning. Just get the words out, and revise and edit later. You can't revise it if it doesn't get done. Look at is as a work in progress.
